Guided surgery protocols for All-on-X treatment provide various clinical advantages, including decreasing morbidity and overall chair time, improving quality of life, and achieving greater patient acceptance and satisfaction than extended protocols for removable restorations.

Flapless guided surgery (i.e., not needing mucoperiosteal flap elevation and suturing) takes less time and reduces postoperative complications. A flapless approach conserves the bone’s blood supply, keeping the periosteum in contact with the bone and the supraperiosteal plexus intact.

In this webinar, we’ll compare the merits of a mucoperiosteal flap with the flapless approach in different clinical scenarios. Suturing techniques as well as pre- and postoperative drug indications and contraindications for guided implant surgery will be covered.
