Blood to Bone: Advancing Full Arch Surgery with PRF

Join us for an exclusive live webinar with Dr. Richard Miron, a globally recognized leader in regenerative dentistry, as he shares cutting-edge strategies for using Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) in All-on-X and full arch cases.

Overview

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a revolutionary new technique taking the field of regenerative dentistry to a whole new level. It incorporates blood-derived components to promote osteogenesis and accelerate healing.

From outcome improvement in cases with limited ridge space, to better biomimetic properties in All-on-X cases, it’s crucial to get acquainted with this technique to broaden the scope of your practice.

This webinar aims to introduce PRF to dentists interested in adopting the technique into their full arch cases, illustrating how to create a workflow that incorporates PRF in a precise, easily applicable and replicated manner.

Webinar Objectives

Understand the biological composition and healing mechanisms of PRF.

Explain how PRF contributes to angiogenesis, osteogenesis, and soft tissue regeneration.

Identify the specific stages of full arch implant procedures where PRF can be utilized effectively (e.g., extractions, grafting, sinus lifts, implant placement)

Learn step-by-step protocols for PRF preparation, including centrifugation settings and handling techniques.

Assess case indications for combining PRF with other grafting materials or membranes.

Explore outcomes from PRF use in complex scenarios.

Evaluate the limitations of PRF, including inconsistent protocols and variability in clinical results.

Analyze the shift toward autologous, biomimetic regenerative practices in oral rehabilitation.

Faculty

Dr. Richard Miron is currently lead educator and researcher at Advanced PRF Education and an Adjunct Visiting Faculty in the department of Periodontology in Bern, Switzerland where he completed his PhD studies in 2009.

He has published over 350 peer-reviewed articles and lectures internationally on many topics relating to growth factors, bone biomaterials and guided bone regeneration. For the past 8 years, Dr. Miron has been recognized by Dentistry Today as being one of the top 100 CE providers in the country and the youngest to ever make the list.

He is also the top ranked researcher on Platelet-Rich Fibrin therapy as per Expertscape independent review. He has recently been awarded many recent international prizes in dentistry and is widely considered as one of the top contributors to implant dentistry having won the ITI Andre Schroeder Prize, the IADR Young Investigator of the Year in the field of Implant Dentistry as well as the IADR Socransky Research award in the field of Periodontology (2020).

He has written 10 textbooks widely distributed in regenerative dentistry including his best-seller in 2019 titled: “Next Generation Biomaterials for Bone and Periodontal Regeneration”, in 2021 titled: “Understanding Platelet Rich Fibrin” and in 2023 titled: “Modern Implant Dentistry”.
